Feature
Payments
Client money goes through your own Stripe account, straight to your bank. Sulit Suites arranges the booking, the deposit rules, the receipts and the refunds around it, and never holds client funds.
What is included
Stripe-powered online payments
LiveCard payments are taken on Stripe's hosted checkout. Card numbers never reach Sulit Suites. Payments are in Australian dollars.
Your own Stripe connection
LiveSulit Suites creates a Stripe Connect account for your business. Stripe verifies your identity and bank account, and pays out on Stripe's schedule.
Deposits or payment in full
LiveSet a deposit per service as a percentage or a fixed amount, or ask for the full amount when the client books.
Manual and external payment methods
LiveRecord cash, bank transfer, or collect separately. These never attract a Sulit Suites fee.
Receipts
LiveAn emailed receipt for every successful payment, plus a printable receipt in the client portal.
Refunds
LiveRefund a payment in full or in part from the Bookings page. Any Sulit Suites fee on that payment is returned in the same proportion.
Platform fee by plan
LiveFree pays a small Sulit Suites fee only on online payments above the threshold; Solo and Pro pay none. Exact figures are on Pricing.
Where the money goes
When a client pays online, Stripe charges the card on your connected Stripe account and pays out to the bank account you verified with Stripe. Sulit Suites never holds, manually pays out or delays your client money. If your plan carries a Sulit Suites fee, it is taken by Stripe at the time of payment and shown on the receipt as part of the total, never added on top of the price.
Fees, in plain terms
- Stripe's processing fee applies to every card payment on every plan. It is charged by Stripe, not Sulit Suites, and Sulit Suites does not control it.
- On the Free plan, a Sulit Suites fee applies to successful online AUD payments strictly above A$50.00. Payments of A$50.00 or less, and all cash and bank-transfer payments, carry no Sulit Suites fee.
- Solo and Pro carry no Sulit Suites transaction fee at any amount.
- Refunds return the Sulit Suites fee: fully for a full refund, proportionally for a partial one.
The exact rate and threshold are shown on Pricing, read from the same rule the checkout enforces.
Deposits and no-shows
A deposit confirms the booking and gives the client a reason to turn up. You decide the amount per service. If the deposit is not paid, the hold expires and the time is released. How much to ask for, and how to word a cancellation policy, is covered in Deposits vs full payment.
Setting up
- Open Settings → Payments and start the Stripe setup.
- Stripe asks for your identity and the bank account for payouts. Sulit Suites never stores identity documents or bank credentials.
- Once Stripe enables charges, online payment options appear on your services.
Payments questions
- Do I need an existing Stripe account?
- No. Sulit Suites creates the connection for your business from Settings → Payments, and Stripe takes you through verification.
- Can I take bookings without online payments?
- Yes. Set a service to no online payment, or to a manual method such as cash or bank transfer. Online payment is optional per service.
- Who issues refunds?
- You do, from the booking. Clients can request a cancellation through the portal, but the refund decision and action stay with you and follow the terms you publish.
- Which currencies are supported?
- Australian dollars. The Sulit Suites fee rule is defined for AUD only.
